Please return after May 1, 2010 for details on the 2010 House Concert.
Classical chamber music was originally composed to be heard in an intimate domestic setting, rather than in a concert hall. Indeed the English word “chamber” comes from the French “chambre,” meaning room. There is nothing quite like hearing great chamber music in the intimacy of an elegant living room, followed by a fine meal and congenial company.
Festival supporters host House Concerts of chamber music in their unique and beautiful Moab area homes.
The House Concerts are benefit concerts. Tickets are partially tax-deductible and provide important financial support to the Moab Music Festival and to the Festival’s educational activities in the community. Children: No children under 12 years of age are permitted. |
