David Prottas,

actor, dancer

After graduating from the National Ballet School in Toronto, David spent ten years with the New York City Ballet, dancing in a wide range of classical and contemporary repertoire. Upon leaving the Ballet he toured the country with the first National Tour of An American In Paris, playing both Adam Hochberg and Jerry Mulligan throughout the run. He made his Broadway debut in the original cast of Carousel and was seen most recently in the new musical, Marie: Dancing Still directed by Susan Stroman at Seattle’s 5th Avenue Theater. David is the recipient of the Christopher Ondaatje Ballet Prize and the Jerome Robbins Scholarship. In addition to his performance work, David teaches dance throughout the country. @davidprottas
