Pablo Estigarribia (Pedro Giraudo Tango Quartet),
World-renowned Argentine tango pianist, arranger and composer, Pablo, began his musical journey with classical music, winning First Prize in the "Bienal Juvenil" National Competition in 2005. After a brief detour into the world of jazz, he was awarded a scholarship with the Orquestra Escuela de Tango, under the directorship of Maestro Emilio Balcarce, with whom he made his first European tour, and which cemented his position in the tango genre. Pablo has performed in over 1,000 concerts, through Europe, Japan, Russia, Finland, Canada, US and Cuba, with elite tango orchestras and as a solo artist. In 2015 he won the prestigious Gardel Prize for “best tango recording by a new artist.” He has made appearances on NBC, Univision, Telemundo, and others. Currently, he proudly assumes the role of transmitting his knowledge and expertise to the new generation of tango students, teaching regularly all over the world. The morphing of a classically-trained pianist with jazz influences and the soul of Argentine tango, can be heard in the exquisite fusion of classical textures, jazz harmonies and the foundational rhythm and structure of Argentine tango, and in Pablo’s powerful delivery.
