Ludwig van Beethoven: String Quintet in C Major, op. 29 (“Storm”)

Event Description:

Hikers, don your sunscreen and journey to a majestic spot in a magnificent secluded canyon ideal for acoustic music.  You’ll hear the MMF’s superb string players in the virtuosic Duo for Violin and Viola, and  Beethoven’s reflective and visionary String Quintet known as the “Storm”.

These scenic hikes, among our most popular events, offer unparalleled musical intimacy and engagement with the artists. Patrons are shuttled to an undisclosed trailhead location. A Canyonlands Field Institute naturalist familiarizes hikers with the terrain and leads the way to the scenic concert location.

Tickets: $70

Ages 12 and above.

In the event that the 2020 Festival is cancelled, tickets are refundable or may be donated for tax credit.

If the 2020 festival occurs, tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
